The Invention:
Competitive players usually have specific tuned rackets. Tournament rackets are available in different weight classes ranging from approx. 260grams up to 350 grams. Usually weights are glued into the grip. Wilson for example is gluing a 25g metal part into the grip of the Pro Staff Tournament racket (290g version) and Head is using multiple iron bars (nails).
In order to allow players to adjust the weight to their specific needs, a reservoir is assembled into the grip which allows a variable weight tuning. The installed module can be filled with liquids or other materials with higher specific gravity, f.e. sand, salt, metal powder and / or a mixture of different materials.
The content of the reservoir can be easily adjusted by a screw cap.
The Invention has been tested, proven and is protected by a utility model.
